​Dr. Joanne Klingele
Dr. Joanne Klingele joined KVC in 1987. Before becoming a veterinarian, she became a Registered Nurse graduating form Stoumont Vahle School of Nursing. Following working as a registered nurse, Dr. Joanne went back to college at University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She has further expanded her degree to become a Certified Veterinary Laser Fellow and a Certified Canine Veterinary Therapist. She is affiliated with American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA) , Illinois State Veterinary Association and American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Joanne states she "was hooked" after spending numerous years of her childhood with her late father who was also a veterinarian, Dr. Ken Klingele. Dr. Joanne has been married to her husband, Steve Obert, for twenty years. They have two children, Will Obert who currently studies at Northwest Missouri State and their daughter, Kenna Obert who is currently in high school. Dr. Joanne has a large fur family consisting of a Great Dane, Maddie, a Weimeriner, Sampson, a Redbone Coonhound, Leon, a boxer, Joe, a Chihuahua, Martin, an Australian Shephard mix, Weezie, and a cat, Amy. Dr. Joanne is very grounded by her family, her faith and her love for KVC and all the staff. "The staff has been together for a number of years and we all strive to practice the best medicine possible. It's like a big family here." Outside of the clinic, she enjoys biking, swimming, spinning, and educating other veterinarians on the use of surgical laser used in the clinic.

​​Dr. Julie Howard
Dr. Julie Howard joined KVC in 1999. She attended  Blackburn College in 1992 and received a  Bachelor's in Science. Following receiving her Bachelor's degree, she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in 1998. She is affiliated with American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA). Dr. Julie's motivation to enter vet medicine was "I have always loved animals and started bringing them home at the age of three. I can't remember ever wanting to do anything else".  She loves being able to practice quality veterinary medicine without having to be in a big city which allows her to remain living on her small farm. Dr. Julie's fun filled farm consists of two dogs, seven cats, two horses, ten ducks, and countless chickens. She also enjoys being able to work a non-traditional schedule with our extended hours so she is allowed to be at home with her children, whom she sets extra time out to home school. Outside of her busy schedule, Dr. Julie enjoys reading, scrap-booking, photography, and seeing Jason Michael Carroll in concert.

Dr. Jeanie Spooner
Dr. Jeanie Spooner joined KVC in 2002. She attended Kansas State University where she received a Bachelor's in Biology and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She is affiliated with American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA) and St. Louis VMA. Dr. Jeanie has always had a love for science and animals which aided her long time passion to make a difference in the lives of animals. She always looks forward to creating a bond and getting to know all of her client's and their beloved pets. Dr. Jeanie also enjoys working as a team with all of the staff and is always looking forward to all the upcoming advances in technology to better benefit animal medicine. She is married to her husband, Brian, and has 3 children. At home, Dr. Jeanie has three dogs, a cat, a ball python snake and one rat. When she is not working at the office, Dr. Jeanie enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

Dr. Tammy Rogers
Dr. Tammy Rogers joined KVC in 2014. She received her Bachelor's in Agriculture at the University of Illinois. Following receiving her bachelors, she graduated from University of Illinois for her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She is affiliated with American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA). Dr. Tammy loves working for KVC and loves coaching competitive horse judging to youth. She is married to her husband, Paul. They share their home with their cat, Chaz, who is said to be "one spoiled cat" and three horses. In her spare time, Dr. Tammy enjoys doing crafts including scrap-booking and collecting Christmas ornaments.

Dr. Jill Dougherty
Dr. Jill Doughtery joined KVC in 2014. She attended two years at Joliet Junior College and one year of undergaduate school at University of Illinois. After watching her father for years work in a veterinary hospital and on the farm, Dr. Jill was inspired to become a veterinarian. She attended the University of Illinois and graduated in 1984 for veterinary medicine. She is affiliated with Chicago VMA, Illinois VMA, and American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA).  Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is performing surgery. She is lovingly supported by her husband of twenty five years and two children, 8 years old. When at home, she enjoys counted cross stitch sewing.

Dr. Sue Sculley
Dr. Sue Sculley joined KVC in 1995. She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Following graduation, Dr. Sculley practiced in Northeast Missouri in a small animal clinic for 5 years. She is a member of MVA, American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA), and North East Missouri Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Sculley's professional interests include exotic animal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Sculley is married to Paul Sculley and they reside in Monroe City, Missouri. They have three daughters, two dogs, one cat and four guinea pigs.  She spends her free time hiking, reading, and volunteering at her church in Hannibal, Missouri.

​Dr. Paul Sculley
Dr. Paul Sculley joined KVC in 1996. Dr. Scully graduated from the University of Delaware then pursued veterinary medicine and graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Following graduation Dr. Sculley practiced in Northeast Missouri in a mixed small animal practice for five years. He then directed his focus on small animal medicine and surgery. He opened a small animal practice in Hannibal, Missouri in 1996 teaming up with Klingele Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Sculley specializes in doing orthopedic and laser surgery. Dr. Sculley is married to Sue Sculley with whom they have three daughters. They also have two dogs, Skeet and Humphrey, a cat named Henry, who thinks he is a dog and four guinea pigs. Dr. Sculley spends his free time looking for arrowheads and enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities at his farm in Monroe City, Missouri.

Kim
Kim has been with KVC since 2005.  She has a certification in Animal Health Technology from Northeast Missouri State. Kim is married and has three children and one son-in-law.  Kim has two Bulldog/Basset mixes, Hardy and Laurel, and one Bulldog, Chester.  She enjoys spending time on her hobby farm.

Jenna CVT, CCRA
Jenna has been with KVC since 2009. She is a certified veterinary technician from Parkland College. She is also an animal rehabilitation therapist receiving her certification from Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2012. Jenna is married to her husband, Rob and has two step-daughters Paige & Brianna. She has a Chihuahua named Rue and 3 cats named Tula, Ralphie, and Snowball. Outside of work, Jenna plays for the local roller derby league.

​Mindy CVT
Mindy has been with KVC since 2006.  She is  a certified veterinary technician. "I love working with animals and I enjoy the medical field." Mindy has been married to her husband, Jesse, for 8 years and has two children, Lily and Grady.  She has one dog, Buddy the Boxer. Outside of work, Mindy enjoys reading, spending time with her family and baking!

Jaime CVT
Jamie has been with KVC since 2004.  She is a certified veterinary technician from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. She was motivated to join animal medicine for her love of all animals. "I love the feeling I have when sick animals get better and get to go home." Jaime is married to her husband, Darren, and has one daughter, Vivienne. She has two pets, Walter J the French bulldog and George the cat.

Amanda CVT
Amanda has been with KVC since 2015. She is a certified veterinary technician and received an associates in Applied Science and Veterinary Technology from Parkland College. Her motivation to enter vet medicine, "I have always loved animals and wanted to help them. Always thought human medicine was gross." Amanda just married her best friend in October (2016) and together they have many fur kids. Our kids include, 5 inside cats (2 have bob tails), one farm cat, two lab/boxer/terrier mixes, a flock of Muscovy ducks and a barn full of rabbits.  She enjoys binge watching tv series and movies, reading, drawing, homesteading, researching raw and natural feeding for pets and livestock. Amanda's passions are helping animals and natural/raw feeding for dogs and cats (introducing pet owners to prey model raw and natural feeding for carnivorous pets)

​Erin  CVT
Erin has been with KVC since 2013. She is a certified veterinary technician. Erin graduated from Hickey College. She has two dogs, a Chihuahua mix named Odie and a Yorkie named Candy Cane and two cats named Harry and Chloe. Erin enjoys gambling and spending time with her family including her two nephews.

​Michaela VA
Michaela has been with KVC since 2012. She is a veterinary assistant and graduated from Camp Point Central High School. Michaela lives with her boyfriend of almost 6 years. Their children consist of 5 fur-babies, lab/pit mix, Marie, two cats, Kai and Salem, plus two guinea pigs Patches and Piglett. "I wanted to enter vet medicine because of my love for animals. Plus seeing that tail wag or getting those kisses from the cats always make me smile!" Outside of work, Michaela enjoys giving attention to and helping stray cats!

​Candace VA
Candace has been with KVC since 2015 as a veterinary assistant and has a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Chemistry. "Initially [I] went to school to help save animals (farm animals) and loved teching more!) Candace enjoys life at KVC because of her great co-workers, team, family, clients, and "making meaningful friendships with all." Her family consists of her husband, Gregory, and their five pets; 2 boxers, Copia and Rascal, a boxer mix, Diesel, American Stafford Terrier, Mack, and their cat, Symba. Candace's hobbies include home improvements and anything outdoors!

Stephanie VA
Stephanie has been with KVC since 2011.  She is a veterinary assistant. She has a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Illinois. Stephanie is married to her husband, Derek. She also has two children, Rocco, 3, and Eden, 7 months. At home, she also has a Border Collie named Milo, and a cat named Ollie.  She enjoys spending time with family and showing horses and dogs in her spare time.

Katie has been with KVC since 2015. She is a veterinary assistant. She has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Murray State University. Katie's motivation to enter vet medicine, "I've wanted to help animals since I was 5 years old and have never wanted to do anything else." She has 3 cats, Zoe, Padme, and Flash. After work she enjoys crafting and helping with the youth group at church.

​Sydney VA
Sydney has been with KVC since 2016 as a veterinary assistant. She received a Bachelor's at University of Iowa in Human Physiology and Quincy University in Biology. She has always had a passion for medical science and working with animals. Sydney has a miniature Goldendoodle named Gracie. In her spare time, Sydney loves playing sports, working out, crafting, reading, and watching her favorite TV shows. ​

​Shelby VA
Shelby has been with KVC 2017. She is a veterinary assisting graduate from Penn Foster.Shelby has always loved working with animals and that is how she found herself in the veterinary field. She and her husband Garrett have 5 pets, Addie, Lolli, Livers, Mesha, and Pumpkin. In her spare time, Shelby loves doing DIY home projects and assorted other crafting.

​Angela
Angela has been with KVC since 2015.  She attended John Wood for half a year and studied anatomy and physiology and studied cosmetology at  Vatterott College. "I love who I work with, the environment I work in and the care for the animals that is done here." Angela is a single mother of two children, her son, Naythen is 10 and her daughter, Makhenna is 3.  "We share one dog with Grandma." Her name is Penny. When she isn't working, Angela enjoys video production projects and spending time outdoors with her kids.

Christy has been with KVC since 2007. She received an Associate's degree from John Wood Community College. Christy has been married to her husband for 11 years and has one daughter. She loves caring for animals and helping them in any way she can. Christy enjoys going to movies and listening to music in her spare time.

​Laura

 Laura graduated the veterinary assistant program at John Wood Community College in 2005.  She has two Children, a son Ryley who is 17 and a daughter Natalee who is 9.  She has a chihuahua Tinkerbell.  Laura has chosen this career because she has loved animals from a young age and this is all she has ever wanted to do her whole life.  In her spare time she likes to be outdoors with her family, go to baseball games, and photography.

Stephanie started working for Klingele in June of 2018. She graduated from Quincy Senior High School in 2011 and from John Wood Community College in 2013. Stephanie chose to work in the animal field because she has loved animals since she was a child. Stephanie has two dogs, four cats, a Russian tortoise, and a crested gecko at home.
